I understand that this statement may be a little controversial but I’ll say it again: you are not your behaviors. You are a whole person made up of many parts and while you may be struggling with behavior patterns that no longer serve you, these patterns do NOT make you a bad person. Breaking free from unhealthy patterns isn’t easy - but it IS possible.
